Book Mash

Not long ago, I was listening to the A Way With Words podcast and the hosts Grant Barrett and Martha Barnette mentioned a book mash, a term I had not heard before. It is a "free verse poem" of sorts composed by the titles of books lying in a pile. Some very interesting combinations can occur by random when read top to bottom of the pile. Of course, for us artistic types who have to play with everything to create something, we can make a book mash by selecting titles that compose a short piece of free verse, and then photograph the mash.

I decided to try this one soggy afternoon, and, though I had only intended to do five, I came up with ten book mashes that I submit to you below.
