To Convert Universal Time (UT) To North American Time Zones (Standard Time)

Time Zone Subtract X Hours from UT
Newfoundland Standard Time 3.5
Atlantic Standard Time 4
Eastern Standard Time 5
Central Standard Time 6
Mountain Standard Time 7
Pacific Standard Time 8
Alaska Standard Time 9
Hawaii/Aleutian Standard Time 10

For Daylight Saving Time, add one hour to the result

Thus, 1100 UTC is the same as 6:00 AM EST and 7:00 AM EDT. When converting zone time to or from UTC, dates must be properly taken into account. For example, 21 March at 0200 UTC is the same as 20 March at 2100 or 9:00 PM EST.
